Masters Bi Yuan and Bi Hai: Routes, Summons and Separate Rewards
Locate the two masters in Village of Lu, distinguish close-range pressure from summon waves, and keep the nearby thief’s handover reward separate from boss drops.
On this page 3 sections
The two masters in Village of Lu reward different responses. Master Bi Yuan can be approached with close-range pressure, while Master Bi Hai requires you to resolve summoned enemies during his protective-bell sequences. The thief’s nearby reward is a separate handover.
Match each destination to its reward
| Target | Destination | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect | Statue grounds beyond Statue Grounds Entrance | Tianxuan Bronze Sword |
| Master Bi Hai of Kuye Temple | Open area beside Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance | Kuye Temple Prayer Beads |
| The thief near Bi Hai’s arena | Hand over the Thief’s Manual from the camp. | Arrow-protection accessory labelled 避箭护符 |
Bi Yuan: reach the statue grounds across the bridge
From Well of the Three Puppets, follow the small path toward Covered Bridge. Pass through the building on the right and clear the red threads blocking the bridge. Cross into the next village section, turn right at the junction and activate Statue Grounds Entrance before entering the arena.
Outlaw Warblade and Iron Gauntlets provide one pressure-based setup. When the boss defends, a charged gauntlet attack can knock him back, creating room for the warblade’s attacks. The charged attack requires level 5. The basic three-hit sequence is available without that upgrade, but a full sequence consumes 1 Remnant Spark.
The recorded approach also switches to Sanguine Twin or White Serpent and Crimson Viper for frequent hits while rebuilding Sha-Chi Essence for the main weapon. Check Phantom Edge uses separately. By default, Outlaw Warblade cannot drain Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies. Equipping the accessory labelled 活木符 enables life drain on those targets at 50% effectiveness. This pressure setup is not an unconditional healing loop; see the lifesteal triggers and limits.
Bi Hai: separate the thief’s handover from the fight
Descend from Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar. At the courtyard, pass through the stone arch into the tunnel and activate Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance. The thief is in the open area beside it. If you have the Thief’s Manual, hand it over for the accessory before returning to the center to start Bi Hai’s battle.
Bi Hai moves away, encloses himself in a golden bell and summons three monks. During the first wave he does not actively attack, so concentrate on those three enemies. Clearing them brings him out with an explosion around him; avoid waiting against the bell for an immediate hit.
The second wave differs: the monks carry weapons and Bi Hai attacks from range at the same time. Watch the distant boss while dealing with the closer enemies. Iron Gauntlets’ sequence can help break shields; use an opening that can reach more than one target where practical.
Defeating Bi Hai awards Kuye Temple Prayer Beads. Their summons are an option for later fights with multiple sources of pressure. First check that the icon has the special glow showing summoning is available, and retain 2 Remnant Sparks. Summoning again replaces the existing allies rather than stacking another group.
