Early Accessories: Match Defense, Healing and Weapon Type to Your Route

Plan early accessories around your actual combat needs. Check conditional defense, healing support and weapon-type restrictions before making a detour.

On this page 4 sections

Start by reading an accessory’s condition. A defense bonus that grows with current health is not a constant reduction at every health level. Likewise, a bonus for one-handed, dual-wielded or two-handed weapons must match your equipped main weapon.

The accessory names below are identified by their Chinese labels; the accompanying English wording describes their role rather than claiming a verified localization.

Select a role before making a detour

Recorded images and conditions for Battle Wraps and Ancient Armor Fragment are collected in the Accessories Wiki; Pendant of Righteousness, Token of Pursuit and Hunter’s Insight are compared on the same page.

Need Accessory to check Important condition
General damage 筋力绑带 General damage increase; compare the same upgrade state
Defensive margin 古甲残片 Damage reduction varies with health, reaching a listed 20% at full health
Stronger flask healing 香薰药盒 A listed 20% increase to healing amount is not an extra flask charge
Poison protection 食物防腐罐 Reduces poison damage by a listed 30%; does not grant immunity
Weapon-type support 妙手在握 / 妙手连环 / 妙手千钧(亦写作千均) One-handed / dual-wielded / two-handed restrictions respectively; check the displayed upgrade state before comparing values

The records for Battle Wraps include different upgrade states, so a base 5% description must not be compared as equal-level evidence with an upgraded 10% image. The two-handed shop accessory has the variant Chinese spellings 千钧 and 千均; they are tracked as one item until its UI spelling is reconciled. The table prioritizes role and condition over a numeric ranking. Patch and other upgrade states remain unverified. Check your current item text, and do not assume that several damage bonuses stack additively or multiplicatively without testing.

Valley rewards use three different acquisition methods

For 筋力绑带, check the enemy group beyond the wooden bridge after first meeting Yu’er. Clear the group before checking the reward; defeating one enemy is not the same as finishing the encounter.

古甲残片 requires a hidden passage. First defeat The Hunt, obtain Hunter’s Chain Sickle, and collect the camp outer-gate key from the high pillar at Sha-Chi Tower Summit. Use it at Creek Valley Plains Entrance before following the hidden route. From Creek Valley Plains Entrance, go through the camp’s outer gate, descend, then turn left along the wall into the cave. Inspect the red-glowing cage in the left wall. Lure the exploding enemy from the right-hand passage farther inside toward that cage. Once the blast opens access, ride the lift down and check the gold pickup on the room’s left. Killing that enemy away from the cage does not open this route.

For 香薰药盒, complete Yu’er’s herb request at Mandate Outpost. Collect the three specified herbs and return for the hand-in. Follow the Yu’er quest chain for the individual locations; possessing the ingredients and finishing the conversation are separate checks.

Forest rewards: combine fragments and revisit the collector

食物防腐罐 is assembled from two accessory fragments. The first is on the table in front of the butcher at the end of the tunnel near the outlaw’s trap. Collect the tunnel switch nearby. Open the underground route, cross the wooden bridge and turn right; the second fragment is on the ground to the other butcher’s left. The pair forms the accessory, so check your fragment inventory if you have visited only one location.

For 妙手在握, rescue the collector from his cage, then find him again at the thieves’ camp and speak to him. 妙手连环 and 妙手千钧(亦写作千均) are purchases from the same character. Check your weapon category before choosing which bonus to pursue.

Combine the journey, keep the rewards separate

If you are already working on Yu’er’s request, check the healing accessory first. If you have the tunnel switch, combine the poison fragments with the forest treasure request. Each quest still needs its own completion or hand-in. This guide covers these early options rather than a complete accessory catalogue.

Version scope: Specific patch version not confirmed. Game updates may change these mechanics. Follow the current in-game behavior where it differs.
