Mandate Outpost Cell Key: Location and Locked Door

The prison key is in the courtyard behind the building at Mandate Outpost. Start from the Bell, climb the stairs and turn right. After collecting the key, return to the courtyard in front of the station to open the prison door and collect a Blackstone Fragment.

Follow three short legs of the route

You need to have reached the station in Weeping Creek Valley.

1. Bell to stairs: start beside the Outpost Bell and take the stairs upward. If the route to the west is blocked, return to the Bell and look for this staircase.
2. Stairs to rear courtyard: turn right at the top and go behind the building. Pick up the quest item labeled Cell Key.
3. Rear courtyard to front courtyard: return to the small courtyard in front of the station, unlock the prison door and collect the Blackstone Fragment inside.

Keep the two courtyards separate

The courtyard containing the key and the courtyard with the locked door are different locations. If you have the key but cannot find a door to use it on, return to the front of the station instead of continuing to search the rear courtyard.

A green map icon can help identify an available route, but still check that you have opened the door and picked up the shard. Completing this short route does not cover every side path around the station.
